The Third is a private members’ club and curated third space in Dakar that brings together creatives, founders, and professionals to connect, collaborate, and experience culture with intention.
The Niofar Circle is a woman-led group rooted in francophone Africa wth extensive experience in the U.S and francophone Africa as entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem builders. Over the past year, the collective has leveraged their platform to encourage diasporan investment into the region, with an emphasis on Senegal. Whether through in person events, online webinars, or regular dinners, The Niofar Circle’s communities are doers shaping entrepreneurship on the continent by supporting entrepreneurs and diasporan engagement as entrepreneurs or investors.
Together, launching Diaspora December in Senegal to nourish and empower diasporans reclaiming their place in Senegal—whether Senegalese returning from abroad, Africans from neighboring countries, or members of the broader Black diaspora, for example from the U.S. or the Caribbean.
