Programming includes entrepreneurial braintrusts, curated conversations, showcases, dinners, and informal gatherings focused on learning, collaboration, and relationship-building rather than panels or traditional conferences.

What is a Braintrust?
A Braintrust is a facilitated small-group session where one entrepreneur centers a real business challenge and receives focused, confidential, and actionable input from peers and experienced practitioners.

Are there keynote speakers or panels?
Diaspora December is intentionally designed around participation rather than spectatorship. Instead of panels, the experience emphasizes dialogue, peer exchange, shared problem-solving and networking without feeling robotic.

Do I need to be an entrepreneur to attend?
No. While many attendees are founders or operators, the gathering welcomes anyone interested in contributing skills, capital, insight, or perspective to the ecosystem, especially in Francophone Africa
